This successor to our first stabilized 24-70mm f/2.8 pushes the limits of optics in its category even further, notably thanks to eBAND lens processing and the presence of a dual microprocessor (MPU) which handles AF and stabilization separately.
This gives you up to 5 stops* of gain! This means you can capture a sharp image handheld with a shutter speed of 1.3 s at 24 mm and 0.5 s at 70 mm.
It offers the best balance between size and image quality with a weight of 900 g and incorporates all the characteristics of the new “Human Touch” series with its new SP ergonomics focused on user pleasure.

In addition to Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) system, the A032 features a dedicated VC stabilizer microprocessor, delivering the most effective image stabilization in its class*1, with a stabilization level of up to 5 stops*2

Faster autofocus
The A032's autofocus system benefits from its own MPU microprocessor which allows
high-speed digital signal processing and provides excellent responsiveness and
high-precision AF performance.
The eBAND coating significantly reduces reflections
The A032 benefits from eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) lens treatment and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating, which significantly eliminates any form of reflection and ghosting effects. A nano-structured layer and conventional multi-layer coatings provide superior anti-reflective properties.
A new sun visor locking system
The lens hood of the SP 24-70mm G2 is equipped with a new locking system that prevents involuntary detachment during use.
Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in console
Connected by a USB cable to a computer, the TAP-in console allows the photographer to easily update the firmware of their lens, and above all to fine-tune the autofocus and customize the stabilization system.
