Tamron x1.4 teleconverter
The 100-400mm is fully compatible with the Tamron TCX-14 (x1.4) focal length extender. This gives a focal range of 140-560mm, with a maximum aperture of f/8. It is therefore compatible with sensors operating at f/8.
