Due to its large memory capacity of 51 GB, it is possible to store up to 6350 JPEG images (900 RAW+ images) or video recordings with a total length of 110 minutes (4K). It is possible to see the remaining number of photos at a glance on the DELO (organic EL) display.
High-definition 360° video recording at 30 fps in 4K (3840×1920)
3-axis stabilization provides shake compensation during video shooting. The addition of new exposure settings: Av, Tv, ISO, and M (Manual), allows for more detailed rendering during video shooting.
Organic EL screen on compact housing
Information such as battery level, shooting mode, remaining frame count, aperture, and sensitivity can be confirmed at a glance. A lightweight, high-strength magnesium alloy is used for the camera body, ensuring rigidity for professional use. Its textured surface gives it a high-quality appearance.
The RICOH THETA Z1 accepts RAW (DNG) +JPEG and JPEG formats
to enable users to achieve more accurate colors and perform high-quality retouching. The free RICOH THETA Stitcher plug-in allows image stitching during processing with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC. After developing RAW files, it is possible to create spherical images with this plug-in, which uses the same algorithm as RICOH THETA.
In addition to the basic functions, the RICOH THETA Z1 uses an Android-based operating system that can be upgraded with the addition of a host of functions.
The user can expand the number of functions by installing various modules. In addition to RICOH's own modules, it is also possible to install those developed by partners. The plug-in API is open for developing new modules.
