Internal Zoom Mechanism
With the internal zoom mechanism, the overall length of the lens barrel is fixed. This keeps the lens's center of gravity nearly constant even when zooming. -
Motorized Zoom
The motorized zoom lens is designed with light tracking and responsive response in mind. This feature provides smooth zooming at a constant speed with multiple zoom operation options via remote control capabilities. This ensures comfortable photo and video shooting.

AS
AS stands for aspherical lenses. This type of lens includes non-spherical surfaces on one or both sides of the glass to eliminate certain types of aberrations. -
Vibration reduction
A built-in Nikon technology designed to improve image stability by automatically compensating for camera shake. Lenses equipped with VR display the abbreviation VR on their barrels. -
ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass
An optical glass developed by Nikon and used with normal optical glass on telephoto lenses to achieve optimal correction of chromatic aberrations. -
IF Objective
